Wendy
Senior Stylist and Colourist Level 7
With over 20 years of experience in hairdressing, Wendy has made a name for herself at HEAD to TOE and is one of our longest serving team members. She has been a key member of the team for over 13 years now. She has a wealth of experience in both cutting and colouring and offers a full range of services to both men and women. Wendy is a strong member and has a very loyal client following and can you be assured of only the very best service, knowledge and skill from Wendy.
Louise
Senior Stylist and Colourist Level 7
Louise has been a stylist for 20 years. She is extremely passionate for the industry and strives to deliver the very best in customer service from the minute her client is in her care. Her personal approach, knowledge and experience ensures that clients are always delighted with the outcome. Louise’s passion for cutting and colouring is exceptional. She is also part of the Goldwell Colour Specialist team at HEAD to TOE offering complete colour correction to clients. She also specialises in bridal hair and ball/party hair ups. Louise is a key member of the team and her professionalism and experience is reflected in her loyal client following.
Vicky
Senior Stylist and Colourist Level 7
Vicky started her career as a Stylist at a very early age when she joined the team as a Saturday Assistant at the age of 14. She very quickly realised that Hairdressing was her vocation and joined the team full time as an Apprentice Stylist. Her natural flair and creative skills were evident from very early on and so was her passion to be a successful Stylist. She has worked hard, showing commitment to her clients and the industry which has rewarded her by achieving ongoing promotions right through to the top as a Senior Stylist, Level 7 at HEAD to TOE. Vicky has a very calm, friendly and welcoming approach, and her loyal client following is a reflection of her excellent delivery of service. She has acquired an outstanding reputation and plays a key role in HEAD to TOE’s ongoing success.
Faye
Senior Stylist and Colourist Level 5
Faye joined the team in July 2016 and brings with her nearly 10 years of hairdressing experience gained from all aspects of the industry including cutting, colouring and training. She has worked in some of Oxford’s most prestigious salons to date and has worked hard to progress her career to enjoy a senior position here at Head to Toe. She is committed to only the very best service level to her clients and her attentiveness with her clients throughout the whole service ensures her clients feel and look amazing when they leave the salon. Faye’s creative and artistic skills are demonstrated with the outstanding colour results she achieves with her clients and she is always keen to keep ahead of the game with the latest colour trends. Clients can be sure of a very friendly and enjoyable service when they visit Faye and will enjoy her passion for the industry. We have no doubt Faye will enjoy continued success with her career.
Charlotte
Stylist and Colourist Level 4
Charlotte is our newest member of the team and joins HEAD to TOE following a very successful career at a prestigious salon in Oxford after she qualified in 2013. Looking for a new challenge and opportunity for development we are delighted she has joined us. She has a very natural talent for the industry enjoying all areas including cutting, colouring and hair up. She will no doubt be kept very busy during the summer as she forms part of the Wedding Specialist team. Charlotte ensures her clients receive a very thorough consultation and that they are happy with the agreed plan. Her commitment to service is admirable and her calm and reassuring approach to her work ensures every client is put at ease and feels confident that they have been listened to. We are looking forward to Charlotte enjoying a very prosperous and fulfilling career at HEAD to TOE and already she has made a great impact.
Claire
Stylist and Colourist Level 4
Claire has been part of HEAD to TOE’s amazing success for over 14 years, in which time she has built a very loyal client base and now a number of her clients enjoy visiting Claire every week. She is skilled in all areas of hair dressing and is very popular for her gent’s cut and finish services and renowned for her volumizing blow dries. She has a calm and unflappable manner and ensures exact attention to detail with all finishes on her clients. You can be sure of an honest and enjoyable visit with Claire and the result will reflect the pride in which Claire enjoys for the industry.
Becky
Stylist and Colourist Level 2
Becky is a truly established member of the HEAD to TOE team with over 13 years’ service with us. She qualified as a Stylist 12 years ago following completion of her Apprenticeship with HEAD to TOE. Over the course of time, she has built a credible client base and is a particular favourite with our young clients who always enjoy their haircuts with her. She instantly installs reassurance in the tiny tots who may be visiting for their first ever haircut, or they could just be very nervous, either way, they always leave smiling with a lollipop in hand. Becky has great all round hairdressing skills in both colouring and cutting and is the leading GHD curler in the team! Becky always runs a busy column and has proved to be a very valuable team player, always going that extra mile to help with the team and to ensure her clients enjoy their visit.
Lauren
Stylist and Colourist Level 1
Lauren joined the team in 2013 as an Apprentice Stylist and has now passed her NVQ 2 to be a qualified stylist. Her passion for the hair and fashion industry started at a young age when she worked as a Saturday Assistant at HEAD to TOE. She is promising to be a future shining star and is already a valuable assistant to the hair styling team and developing a strong following whilst continuing her development with her NVQ 3 studies. Lauren has a very attentive and personal approach delivering first class customer service. She is a perfectionist in all that she does and does not settle for second best. We have no doubt her career as a Stylist will be successful and fulfilling.
Helen
Senior Beauty Therapist Level 4
Helen is our longest serving member of the HEAD to TOE team with over 19 years of employment with us. She qualified in 1995 as a Beauty Therapist and has worked hard to become an established and very popular Beauty Therapist with our clients. She offers a wide range of treatments but particularly enjoys the holistic side of Beauty Therapy and offers Reflexology as a complimentary therapy to clients for various conditions including stress, irritable bowel syndrome, fatigue and pain reduction. She has naturally healing hands and is a popular Therapist for hot stone massage and deep tissue massage. Her bubbly and friendly personality ensures every clients has a most enjoyable treatment. Her passion for the industry is evident and her exceptionally high standards are admirable.
Carly
Senior Beauty Therapist Level 4
Carly joined the team as a newly qualified Beauty Therapist over 12 years ago and has proven to be a key and valuable team member ever since. From day one, she has demonstrated maturity, professionalism and a natural skill for all of the beauty services she provides. Carly delivers a continuous excellent service level and very quickly became a very popular and highly regarded Therapist to both clients and the team. She is trained in all aspects of Beauty Therapy but is always in high demand for Elemis Anti-ageing facials, Elemis Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone treatments and Reflexology. With natural healing hands and excellent all round skill, clients can be sure of a professional, relaxing and outstanding service leaving them looking and feeling amazing. She has acquired additional training and knowledge throughout her career with HEAD to TOE keeping her at the forefront of the industry, and together with her hard work, commitment and loyalty she very quickly progressed up the career path to Senior Beauty Therapist Level 4. Carly can feel proud that she has played a significant part in HEAD to TOE’s success.
Suzie
Beauty Therapist Level 3 & Salon co-ordinator
Suzi has been part of the team since 2009. She originally joined us as a part time Salon Co-ordinator and was our front of house friendly face for a number of years, dealing with client enquiries, client bookings and ensuring effective communication within the team and client reservations. As she was already a qualified Make Up Artist and Beauty Therapist, she was the perfect candidate to join the Beauty Therapy team when a vacancy arose last year and now enjoys both roles. Her dedication and enthusiasm to Beauty Therapy is admirable and she consistently demonstrates attention to detail whilst giving her clients an amazing and enjoyable treatment. She successfully passed the Elemis Face and Body training, Lash Perfect extensions and Lynton Light IPL Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation with flying colours and offers her clients a full range of services. Her passion for make up, nails and skin rejuvenation is evident and she is always in demand for such services.
Summer
Beauty Therapist – Level 2
Summer joined the team in September 2013 on a part time basis whilst she studied for her CIBTAC and OICB Spa Beauty & Body Therapy qualification at the Oxford International School of Beauty. This is an intensive and demanding course where students are taught to the highest professional standards. Her passion and enthusiasm to achieve was outstanding and she was awarded Student of the Year 2014 by the school. Following her qualification she joined HEAD to TOE full time and she has already successfully undergone further training and is now offering Elemis Spa Face and Beauty, Lashperfect lash extensions and Intense Pulse Light hair removal and skin rejuvenation in addition to all other beauty services. She has a clear love of the beauty industry, making her clients look and feel amazing with every experience and we have no doubt will continue to grow and become even more successful.
Sophie
Beauty Therapist – Level 1
Sophie joined Head to Toe in May 2016 as a full time Beauty Therapist. She studied at the prestigious Oxford International College of Beauty as part of their apprenticeship programme. She applied 100% effort and commitment to the course, consistently demonstrating exceptional standards in her practical and academic work, and as a result Sophie was awarded Student of the Year by the college. Since joining the team, she has shown excellent levels of customer service, has built rapport with the team and her clients and is proving to have an admirable passion and commitment to ensure her clients get a “Wow” treatment every time. She loves all aspects of beauty, especially nails, make up, and massage, and is a perfectionist in all that she does. She has a friendly and bubbly personality and her clients enjoy her warm welcome and the treatment time spent with her. She has a prosperous and exciting beauty therapy career ahead of her which we know she will embrace.
Sue
Salon Co-ordinator
Sue has been working as part of the “front of house” team for nearly 10 years and has become a very familiar face to our clients. Sue enjoys seeing the clients regularly and has a very personal approach to each and every client. Meeting and greeting our clients and facilitating their bookings, Sue has a wealth of knowledge of HEAD to TOE’s hair and beauty services and will be able to guide each client to ensure they understand and book the most suitable treatment for them.
Lois
Salon Co-ordinator
Lois formed part of the “front of house” team in 2011 and has proved to be a very valuable member of the team. She will always greet our clients with a bubbly and friendly smile and ensure they are looked after from the minute they arrive to the moment they leave. Her friendly and enthusiastic personality is priceless and clients always enjoy seeing her at Reception. She is very organised and will ensure clients are booked according to their requirements.
Hayley
Owner and Beauty Therapist
Hayley has to be one of Oxford’s most experienced and talented Beauty Therapists, with over 30 years of experience bringing the very highest standards of beauty treatments to a wide selection of Oxford’s most discerning ladies. At the tender age of 21, Hayley opened HEAD to TOE to rave reviews, and has continued to ensure she remains fresh and up to date with the services she offers. Hayley now limits the appointments she has available, specialising in facials and in particular DermaQuest prescriptive facials which are achieving remarkable results for her clients. Hayley now also focuses on the constantly developing team she has around her and to pass on those years of experience to our up and coming stars.
Maria
Salon Manager
Maria joined the team as Salon Manager and has been a strong part of our history ever since. She is calm, caring and considering in her approach to the day to day running of the salon, which means the team and clients are comfortable and confident to chat with her. Maria is tasked with creating a happy confident creative team of professionals who are customer focused and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of service, whilst keeping the salon environment filled with a sense of professionalism, fun and laughter. It’s a delicate balance to create, which she handles with grace and good humour.
Angus
Owner and Commercial Director
Angus joined HEAD to TOE in 1993 to oversee the rapid expansion of the business at our site in Wootton, and to help grow the business to what we believe to be the biggest independent hair and beauty salon under one roof in Oxfordshire. Angus oversees the day to day commercial business aspects of HEAD to TOE and is constantly developing a mixed marketing strategy which combines the latest relevant social media communications with core client value driven promotions. He is also constantly looking at ways to drive the business to deliver client focused advances in services and treatments. He balances his work at HEAD to TOE with a number of external business commitments.
